Goalkeepers of all ages and abilities are invited to join us to work on and improve their goalkeeping over the summer months.
Over school terms 4 (2024) and 1 (2025) and a part of school holidays, there will be two specialist, goalie-dedicated sessions a week, starting Sunday 13 October.
THURSDAYS 5.45 – 7.15am at Beatty Park Leisure Centre, North Perth
Back at our winter ‘base’ at Beatty Park, this will look a lot like the regular Thursday morning, but in two parts:
- 5.45 to 6.05 Land: Goalie core workout (20 minutes)
- 6.05 to 7.00-15 Pool:
- Option A – Goalie Circuit (intervals of goalie specific fitness stations in the water; suited to older and/or more experienced goalkeepers)
- Option B – Goalie Fundamentals (small group work on basics of movement; suited to younger and/or less experienced goalkeepers or anyone needing to brush up)
SUNDAYS 8.30 – 10.30am at Cockburn ARC, Cockburn
At our lovely, new summer facility, we will do:
- 8.30 – 8.50 (20 min) Land: Goalie speed/agility (20 minutes)
- 9.00 – 9.45/10.30 Pool: Goalie game elements (eg short corner, 6 on 5, lobs, perimeter shots, close shots, passing …); every second week we will be joined by shooters from our partners Magura

Magura/Goalie Power Summer
We will again partner with Magura Water Polo and this type of registration gives you a chance to attend approximately 70 – 80 Magura and/or Goalie Power sessions until the end of March 2025 (excluding optional clinics and tournaments, TBC).
Cost: $850 (payable to Magura, register here)
Goalie Power Full Summer
This gives you access to approximately 50 – 60 goalie sessions (Thu, Sun; no Magura) until the end of March 2025 (excluding optional clinics and tournaments, TBC).
Cost: $600 (payable to Goalie Power, register here)
Goalie Power As-You-Go session blocks
Each block gives you the flexibility to attend any six (6) Goalie Power sessions (Thu, Sun; no Magura) until the end of March 2025 (excluding optional clinics and tournaments, TBC).
Cost: $150 per 6 sessions (payable to Goalie Power, register here)
